GLC Sales Associate – Gurgaon

Job description:

Position Overview:

As a GLC Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving Sales at the assigned GLC.

(GLC stands for ‘Growth and Logistics Centre’ – the location where our fodder is cultivated using hydroponics).

Your role will involve ensuring the Sales within the rural catchment of the GLC in alignment with organizational goals.

This role will require not just flawless execution but strategic planning, monitoring and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the GLC.
  • Plan and execute BTL activities in the GLC’s catchment area, like Kiosk/Umbrella activity, leaf letting activities, etc.
  • Engage with the customers and the retailers to educate them on the benefits of Shunya and helping them self-order using the Shunya mobile app (increase app downloads).
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Growth Management:

  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and growth within the assigned GLC territory.
  • Conduct market research to understand local animal husbandry, dairy, agricultural needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement targeted promotional activities.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, dairy farm owners,  and local communities.
  • Address customer queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct trainings to educate the dairy farmers on the benefits of Shunya.

Performance Management:

  • Achieve performance metrics and KPIs related to Sales.
  • Regularly analyze and report on key performance indicators to the leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Intermediate(HSC/+2) or, Bachelor’s diploma/degree holder.
  • Experience in field sales, preferably in the agritech, dairy or rural sector.
  • Excellent understanding of rural markets and agricultural practices in India.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and challenging rural environment.
  • Knowledge of local languages and cultures within the assigned territory is an advantage.
  • Tech-savvy.
  • Should have a two-wheeler.
