Last updated: 6 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our website (https://www.shunya.live), our mobile applications, and related online services (together, the “Services” or the “App”).

This Privacy Policy covers both our website visitors and users of our Android / iOS mobile applications.

1. Who we are

The Services are operated by Shunya Fodder and Forage Agritech Private Limited. Our website address is: https://www.shunya.live.

Contact for privacy requests: https://www.shunya.live/contact-us/

2. Information we collect through our mobile applications

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

  • Account & identity: mobile number (for OTP login), name, business/store details, and address information you submit during registration or profile setup.
  • Location: approximate or precise location (when you allow it) to help set or autofill address / map selection.
  • Photos / media: images you choose from gallery or capture with the camera when the App asks you to upload a photo (for example a store or profile photo).
  • Device information: device type, operating system, app version, and identifiers needed for login/session (for example device token / UUID used for notifications and authenticated sessions).
  • Usage & transactional data: activity generated while using the App, such as browsing, orders, cart/checkout, payments-related records, and business tools available in the App.
  • Support communications: information you share when contacting support.

Some features may allow limited browsing without full account registration. Account-based actions (for example placing orders, payments, ledger, or dashboard tools) may require login.

3. How we use mobile app information

  • Create and manage your account and profile
  • Send and verify OTP for secure sign-in
  • Provide App features such as catalog, ordering, payments, and business tools
  • Send transactional / service notifications (for example order or account updates)
  • Improve app reliability, security, and customer support
  • Meet legal, compliance, and fraud-prevention requirements

4. Permissions the App may request

  • Camera / Photos: to capture or select a photo when you use upload features
  • Location: to help set or verify address on a map or registration form
  • Notifications: to deliver service messages related to your account and activity

You can change permission settings anytime in your device settings.

5. Website information we collect

When you use our website, we may collect the following categories of information:

5.1 Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

5.2 Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

5.3 Cookies

  • Comment form cookies: if you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies so you do not have to refill them next time. These cookies last for one year.
  • Login test cookie: if you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
  • Login & display cookies: when you log in, we set cookies to save login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days; screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
  • Editor cookie: if you edit or publish an article, a cookie stores the post ID of the article you just edited (no personal data). It expires after 1 day.

5.4 Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example videos, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you visited that other website.

Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content — including if you have an account and are logged in there.

6. Who we share your data with

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate the website and App (for example hosting, analytics/crash reporting, push notifications, SMS/OTP, spam detection, and payment gateways)
  • Payment partners as needed to process payments you initiate
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security

If you request a password reset on the website, your IP address may be included in the reset email.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment on the website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

For App accounts and business records, we retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet contractual/legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize personal data that is no longer required, except where retention is required by law.

8. What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, have left comments, or use our App, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

9. Account deletion (mobile App)

Signed-in App users can start account deletion from the App (for example from the menu option Delete my account / account settings), which may open our deletion page: https://shunya.live/core/deactive_customer.php. You may also contact us via Contact Us to request deletion.

10. Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. App and website data may be processed by our service providers as needed to operate the Services.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12. Children’s privacy

Our Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after updates means you accept the revised policy.

14. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, contact Shunya through https://www.shunya.live/contact-us/ or the support options shown in the App.
