Shunya  &  TRI to Scale “Fodder Entrepreneurship” together.

Shunya Agritech is delighted to announce a strategic, non‑commercial partnership with Transform Rural India Foundation (TRI) to bring fresh, hydroponic green fodder to even more villages across the country.

Since 2015, TRI has championed “Thoughtful Tarakki” – a holistic model that transforms languishing localities into flourishing communities through sustainable, scalable solutions. Today, TRI’s footprint spans eight states, 42 districts, and over 20,000 villages, working across Health & Nutrition, Income Prosperity, Education, Water & Sanitation, Local Governance, and Gender Equity

By combining TRI’s deep grassroots networks and community‑driven development design with Shunya’s zero‑soil, zero‑chemical hydroponic technology, we’ll identify and empower local entrepreneurs to launch Growth & Logistics Centers (GLCs) in underserved areas. TRI’s & Shunya’s field teams will help mobilize villages – leveraging panchayat linkages and youth collectives – to host live demonstrations, build awareness, and help recruit passionate GLC partners.

Our shared goals are clear:

  1. Scale Impact Rapidly: Leverage TRI’s proven outreach infrastructure to introduce hydroponic fodder in new blocks and gram panchayats.
  2. Build Entrepreneurial Ecosystems: Train and support rural youth as “fodder entrepreneurs”  creating local enterprises that boost incomes and generate employment.
  3. Generate Evidence for Policy: Use IoT‑enabled dashboards and community‑collected data to demonstrate milk‑yield uplifts, cost savings, and social outcomes thus fuelling advocacy for further policy support & adoption.

Commenting on the MOU Mr. Anish Kumar, the Co-Lead of TRI said “This collaboration embodies both organizations’ commitment to systemic rural transformation. Together, we’ll not only improve animal health and farmer livelihoods but also contribute to TRI’s vision of “flourishing communities” and Shunya’s mission to revolutionize dairy nutrition in India. Stay tuned for impact stories and updates as we embark on this journey – one village at a time.”

Vijay Singh, the CEO of Shunya Agritech added “We are excited as this partnership ignites unprecedented opportunity to empower rural youth as entrepreneurs, revolutionize dairy nutrition through hydroponic fodder, and uplift farmer incomes sustainably across India.”
