Feed Info
Dairy farmers often make feeding decisions based on availability or traditional practices rather than the actual nutritional needs of the animal. This can lead to imbalanced diets, lower milk productivity, higher feed costs, digestive stress, and poor overall animal performance. Rising fodder shortages and increasing concentrate prices are making scientific feeding more important than ever.
Shunya FeedRight is a livestock nutrition intelligence platform designed to help farmers make better daily feeding decisions using science and data. By analysing factors such as animal weight, milk yield, fat percentage, life stage, and available feed ingredients, FeedRight recommends a balanced ration aligned with NDDB and ICAR nutritional standards.
FeedRight is currently available in beta. We invite farmers, veterinarians, dairy professionals, and livestock advisors to try it out and share their feedback.
Based on ICAR 2013 coefficients for your animal's body weight, milk yield, and breed.
Check only the feeds you can actually source. The solver will only use what's available.
Adjust quantities as needed. Lock a feed to fix its quantity; the solver fills the rest to meet targets at lowest cost.
